Barry Kiely, CEO.

Barry has over XX years of experience in the microbiome field and is one of the original founders of Alimentary Health. During this time he has grown the company to profitability and developed partnerships with leaders in the microbiome field, including leading the discovery of bif longum 35624, now the No 1 recommended probiotic by US Gastroenterologists and Doctors (add ref). Prior to founding the company, he was General Manager of BioResearch Ireland’s National Food Biotechnology Centre and R&D Manager of International Biochemicals, part of Royal Dutch Shell. Barry completed his degree and Ph.D at University College Cork in the field of microbiology.

Jenny Roper,
IP Director.

Jenny manages the AH IP portfolio, including the filing of patent applications and protection of intellectual property rights around the globe. She is also  responsible for Trademarks.  Prior to joining AH, she was a Partner in start-up brokers FOR Securities. She has also successfully spun out a company in the diagnostics industry. A scientist by training, Jenny is a graduate of University College Cork and holds a Ph.D from the University of Cambridge as well as a Wellcome Fellowship from University College London.

Alexandre LePage,
Director, Business Development, International.

Alexandre has over 30 years experience in development of international business and partnerships in the probiotics area. Prior to joining AH, Alexandre was Area Director in Mayoly-Spindler for Eastern Europe, Middle East, Asia and Latin America. He has also worked in international roles with BioCodex and Theramex, both in Medical and Pharmacy environments.

Liz O'Brian,
Corporate Services Director.

Liz is responsible for a range of Corporate Services including HR

Brian Barrett,
Chief Financial Officer.

Brian brings over 25 years of industry finance experience to the Alimentary Health team, working in a wide variety of industries including Food, Technology and Corporate Finance. He has successfully add investor appealing action raised capital / investor attraction. Brian is a qualified Chartered Accountant and an Associate of the Irish Taxation Institute.

Eileeen Murphy,
Chief Science Officer.

Eileen leads Alimentary Health's R&D and Regulatory teams and is responsible for our extensive clinical program. She has over XX years of experience in microbiome R&D and has published in key journals such as GUT, Gastroenterology, Journal of Nutrition and the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition. Prior to joining AH, Eileen was a key member (team leader) of the Host Response Group of the Alimentary Pharmabiotic Centre (APC) at University College Cork
