E-commerce Specialist/Manager


The Alimentary Health Group, headquartered in Cork, is recruiting an e-commerce Specialist/Manager to support e-commerce initiatives and sales operations for our product range, including the leading Alflorex® range Alimentary Health (AH) is an innovative Irish healthcare company and a global pioneer in discovery, development and commercialisation of proprietary probiotic and pharmabiotic treatments. We have a leading range of consumer healthcare products and an exciting new product portfolio. This new e-commerce operations role is a chance to play a key part in developing and managing this platform and to grow with a rapidly expanding and dynamic company.


Key responsibilities

  • Owning and managing the daily operation of our e-commerce platform, including the consumer ordering process. Monitoring and managing our Amazon channels including liaison with our sales and finance departments.

  • Using Google Analytics to analyse website trends.

  • Initiating, analysing and optimising all channels to drive traffic as well as continuing to develop, test and implement changes to the website to improve conversion. Note: no need to write content.

  • Supporting our internal IT requirements and managing the out sourced IT contract services for the company. 

Profile

  • Graduate with ideally postgraduate qualification in e-commerce or business information systems. 

  • 2-18 months experience or equivalent working in e-commerce. 

  • Knowledge of Hubspot and Magento or Shopify desirable.

  • Experience working with re-sellers an advantage. 

  • Strong analytical capability: able to interpret data quantitatively and qualitatively.

  • Commercially aware. 

  • Committed to delivering an exceptional customer experience.

  • Enthusiastic team player with the ability to communicate effectively with sales, marketing and finance.

  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Interested in technology.
